Bears In New York

We traveled with the Wilson and Hillman clan to New York to watch the Bears play some basketball. Luckily, they pulled off a big win over San Diego State tonight! We'll be back at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night!

Do I Have To?

At lunch, I dropped Creighton off in Gustine, Texas with my mom and Aunt Rhonda so he could begin his five night stay in Abilene as we head to New York. Tears streamed down my face as I pulled my quiet car out of the dusty gas station parking lot thinking about this sweet face.

Boys Being Boys

Cuddle Bug

Rather he's on the verge of another ear infection or if he's feeling like his chipper self, he's always up for some Mommy & Me cuddle time before bedtime.

Note: He sleeps with Simba, two Bongos (the Beanie Baby monkey), his Prayer Bear (says the Lord's Prayer) and now his "baby" (a bear that wears a little p.j. suit). It's always fun to get him out of bed in the morning toting all these treasures.

Chasing "Bad Guys"

Creighton, Deacon & Tristan, all in their own forms, are chasing the "bad guys" in the front yard, actually in the street, at Mimi & Pop-Pop's house.

Just A Night Out

Creighton had a night out at the ranch with Daddy & Pappy and his pretend little pistol. They went after work in Abilene tonight to put some corn out for the turkey.

Cheering on the Bears

We went to Brent & Nicki's tonight to watch the Bears in their third NIT game. With a big win, we celebrated as we decided we are New York bound next week. And then we got sad, because we are going without these two little mugs.

The Last One

I'm hoping this is the last box of diapers for this little guy!

What A Weed!

While working in the yard with Daddy today, Creighton stumbled upon this weed. Not likely that his little shovel will remove this life-sized weed.

Meeting Mary Claire

We drove to Tyler today to meet another new gift from above and visit with some of our dearest friends. Mary Claire arrived yesterday morning!

Mommy Office Pedicures

I, along with Nicki and Jennifer, was treated to a Mommy Office Get-a-way. Thanks to Brent we recieved some spa treatment and some pedicures to celebrate Nic Nic's birthday at Barton Creek Resort in Austin!

Taking A Rest

The weather turned warm today while we were with some of our playgroup friends at the zoo, so Creighton and Ella decided to take a break by the bears.

What Can I Say?

This kid sure does love his grandfathers! Hanging out in the backyard with his Pop-Pop before heading back to Waco.

Ava Kate Arrives

Our little Irish Princess made her highly anticipated debut today and I got to photograph her delivery! Oh, sweet princess, we love you!

Tonight as thoughts flooded my brain, I had to pull out this book to decide who our baby will become tomorrow morning.

Go Bears!

With gun in hand, Creighton was ready to cheer on the BU Bears in the Big 12 Championship Game tonight against Mizzou. Sadly, the bears didn't win the game!

Our Little Staller

Monkey Man insisted on eating this banana and having a glass of chocolate milk at Pop-Pop and Mimi's house tonight instead of heading to bed.

Gatti Land with Grandma and Grandpa Spicer

Although the faces don't quite show our enjoyment, we had a wonderful lunch today with Grandma & Grandpa Spicer.

Bus Ride With Pawpa Bob

We took a ride around A-Town with Pawpa Bob & Memaw on the city bus. Pawpa was our bus driver!

Just the boys popped a bag of popcorn, made a pallet, put in Lion King and watched a movie with Pop-Pop!

Cute-o Cousins

These two sure did enjoy each others company while hanging out at Mimi and Pop-Pop's! They chased bad guys, played puzzles, read books, jumped on the trampoline, rode the John Deer and bikes, and actually got along without any arguments.

Surprise, Sweet Friends

We (under the direction of Aubrey's husband, Justin) helped surprise Aubrey & Robyn with a birthday party for their big 30! What a fun night to celebrate with our dear friends from back in the day!

Puzzle Pieces

Before nap time today, Creighton wanted to work on his ABC floor puzzle. He actually put the entire thing together on his own. I was amazed at how he used the pictures on the pieces to find what was missing & what would go next. He also used the picture of the puzzle on the box to find what would be above, beside, below or around each of the pieces until he made a correct fit.
By about the second complete row, I was having to encourage him to keep on going! I guess his attention span isn't quite ready for something that took us over thirty minutes. The puzzle sure did make for a great conversational piece!

Daddy Date

About once a week, we meet Daddy for lunch at Subway! It's become one of our favorite outings of the week and today was no different.

Playdate with Parker

Creighton was so concerned by the teardrop below Parker's eye (from when his Mommy left) that he continued to talk about it until we wiped it off his little face. FYI- He stopped crying before I even shut the door to tell his Mommy good-bye and the boys played great at a distance together while Holly was at the doctor's office. Since Creighter had puked, we thought it be best to keep them apart, but together. Make sense? You must make "due" when you have no family in town and you need a sitter, huh!

Slumber Party Gone Bad!

When Mommy Office decided to have our monthly dinner together and Benjie was out of town, Uncle Brent did not hesitate to ask to watch Creighton. When I got back from eating, Creighton was already asleep. I decided we could spend the night. Our first slumber party...gone bad!

While we shared Reese's guest bed, Creighton threw up all over both of us at two in the morning. Uncle Brent saved the day and helped clean the bed, change the sheets and comfort an almost crazy mom (that's me!).

Cat Food Doesn't Hurt, Huh?

While I went to the doctor for my check up on the baby, Creighton stayed at Parker's house. In all the fun times they had, Parker attempted to sneak a piece of cat food in Creighton's mouth. Creighton wasn't having it!

God Made The Stars

Creighter made this picture at church today. When he located his particular paper on the floor outside his classroom in the nursery hallway, he was so proud to show us his picture. Although, he was very disturbed that his picture of the night sky did not have a moon. We look for the moon every night when the sky starts to get dark.
