Benjie has been taking care of EVERYTHING these past few sick, sick days. Since I have no energy and feel/look horrible, he took Creighton to the pediatrician, just to find out little man has a "bulging" ear infection. On the way home they went to the store to get some medicine and came home with some flowers Creighton picked out for me- along with Taco Bueno lunch. They sure do know how to cheer me up!
Still under the weather and Daddy away in Abilene, Creighton and I found many ways to entertain ourselves today. Too much television, coloring, choo-choos, reading, making up stories, searching for missing toys, taking showers, dumping out blocks, and then, we pulled out the word whammer. We practiced his little brother or little sister's name using the initials and of course, his initials too. Then, he came up with his own word. Interesting word, huh?
I never get sick- hardly ever! But today, I'm not feeling very well! Apparently, when you're pregnant, you can't take as many medications either. I'm just happy you can take something!

Benjie and I went to dinner and a movie tonight with Uncle Michael and Aunt Jennifer. Creighton and Sawyer spent the evening with Holly and the rest of the Hillman clan at Michael's parent's house. Here we are around ten o'clock heading home- this kid is still smiling hours past his bedtime!
We were so glad that Mimi and Pop-Pop came to town to celebrate Mimi's 51st birthday with us today!
At dinner tonight, Creighton started singing," B-I-N-G-O was his name Oh" and so we loaded our Ipod up and let him dance away.
All geared up in A-town at Pappy & Mammy's with Uncle Michael and Daddy ready to cheer on those Bears. Sadly, eight thirty called CDP and Mommy to bed and the Bears, well, that's another story.
Today we got to hang out with our little friend, Jake, and his sweet mommy, Sarah. Isn't he a doll? He was so infatuated with watching Creighton play with all his toys, he didn't hardly make a peep! Precious little ones!
Creighton and Pop-Pop, two peas in a pod, sharing a laugh and a new gesture. Along with eating Oreos and drinking milk!
After purchasing this potty around noon, Creighton filled the pot with tinkle after his nap! Way to go, big boy! I know he'll love me for this, huh?
This is where Creighton wants to be when we're in Abilene. I'm fine with it, because I'm laying over on the couch sleeping or being very lazy and he still wants me when it's time to put him to bed every night!
Can our little man truly become a better eater? He sure did chow down on these chicken nuggets, fries and fruit cup at lunch today. Meal time is becoming more and more fun!
Daddy and Creighton went on a Daddy and Me Date to Chuck E' Cheese while Mommy went to dinner with all our Playgroup Mommies. I think it's safe to say, we all had a wonderful evening out!
This year is already filled with blessings beyond measure. Our second child has become everything to me as we prepare to become a family of four this summer.
After coming inside with Daddy (and bows and arrows) and taking off his beanie, this is what our big boy looked like. I'm just often times caught off guard with the amount of love my heart carries for this little, big boy.
Creighton helped me make our famous Chocolate Chip cookies with my new Kitchen Aid Empire Red mixer tonight and thus began a really bad nightly ritual, Cookie Time. We scream "Cookie Time" as we all three run to the living room with our milk and fresh baked cookies.
